White-Label PPC: What to Ask First
Marketing Ops · Cyber Elite Team
Ask who actually has access to the ad accounts
In a white-label PPC arrangement, account ownership and access should sit with the agency reselling the service, not be locked inside the fulfillment partner’s own agency account with no visibility. Before signing on, confirm the ownership structure explicitly: it determines what happens to campaign history and account standing if the partnership ever ends.
Ask how reporting actually gets built, not just what it looks like
A polished white-labeled report means little if the underlying process for pulling and interpreting the data is opaque. Ask specifically how conversion tracking is set up, how attribution is handled across channels, and whether someone can walk through the logic behind a given month’s numbers, not just hand over a templated dashboard.
Understand the actual division of client communication
White-label arrangements vary widely in how much client-facing communication the fulfillment partner handles versus the reselling agency. Get explicit about who talks to the client when a campaign underperforms, who handles urgent budget changes, and how quickly the fulfillment side responds when the reselling agency needs an answer fast.
Ask what happens during scale, not just at the current volume
A white-label partner that manages five accounts well does not automatically manage fifty well. Ask about team structure, how accounts get assigned as volume grows, and whether the same quality of strategic oversight holds up once the relationship moves well past its starting size.
